__________
PLEASE INFORM US AHEAD OF THE APPLICATION PROCESS IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO BRING BOATS OVER 30-FEET LONG.
Space is first come/first serve. Boat Shows often display boats so close together they seem to all start looking the same, so nautical exhibitors such as a dock builder or non profit coastal groups have been invited to attend to avoid repetition.
There is no limit as to how many boats one dealer may bring. Expect the fire department to inspect boat fuel tanks which must be under ¼ tank.
Boats need to remain on trailers for quick set-up and break-down. Boat dealers agree to protect the end of trailers with an item such as a plant or safety cone. Please bring wheel-chocks to prevent rolling.
Cape Coral Parkway will be closed at 7pm Friday evening, January 10th, and each dealer will have individual directions including set-up instructions prior to the show.
__________
Measuring your space:
Staff will help direct you to your area and boats are set up with the engine backed up to the median with the nose of the trailer no further than 15-feet from the median curb. Both eastbound and westbound lanes are being used. When calculating linear feet, be sure to figure in work space, tent and signage. A "staging area" is being planned if you prefer to start running boats out during the day on Friday.
By comparison:
A 50’ boat would need about 60’ to sit horizontally with the trailer and engine, add another 20’ for working space, for $2,800. The same square footage in a show like Miami would cost around $21,000, yet we have more attendees and we're in the 3rd largest boating/coastal community in Florida.
The example below:
130’ comfortably fits three 20-ft boats with dealer tent. When measuring, consider the length from the back of the engine to the tip of the trailer
Boat exhibitor space is $35 per linear foot @ 15’ deep. Square foot cost is roughly $2.30 per sq ft. The example above would cost $4,550. Sponsors would deduct $1,050 from the cost.
