"There's A YouTube Channel For That"

from Contributing Writer

Thomas E. Dawson

Emergencies can happen at any time while you are on the water. One of the keys to dealing with an emergency is having someone on board that can help. Help in the case of an emergency might mean someone who know how to drive your boat and get it safely back to the dock.

“Partner in Command” on America’s Boating Channel can give you an idea how having a regular boating partner with basic skills comes in handy.  America’s Boating Club offers an online seminar called “Crew at the Helm” designed teach some of the basic boating skills.

Your local USPS | ABC club may be offering the seminar under either name, Partner in Command or Crew at the Helm. Reach out to them for dates and times.

Stay safe on the water!
